Took the Budster for a walk, few metres away a couple with a yappy little terrier, I think Buds would have gladly eaten the little bastard.

took car for MOT and service, was sat there for 3 hours as they no longer provide courtesy cars or collect them, but went prepared, flask of coffee, Kindle, ipod.

had nice chat with staff member ref electric cars, seems there's a all electric Mustang, there's also a limited edition (50) with a V8, I know which one I'd have but need to save up £54000

The electric Mustang is a stupid SUV with a pastiche of Mustang bits sellotaped on…..don’t bother.

had my eyes on the V8:pontiac:
They are pretty nice, sound fantastic and go like stink but the interiors don’t compare well but then again they are relatively cheap compared to the opposition. My builder pal has one and he loves it. Then again he supports Spurs so that doesn’t mean much.

A ride out on a Thunderace yesterday meant I was broken for most of today but I did manage to get to the sorting office to pick up 2 parcels the postie had inexplicably failed to deliver yesterday

Stuck £25 of cheap nasty sainsbury's fuel in the car on the way back, then cut the lawn and went a wander up town for no particular reason

Had a neighbour reverse into the 'bird and knock if off the stand onto it's side :(

It was parked on the road by the end of the drive as I was doing a mega garage clean out.

When I pointed out the damage to him he expressed the view "it's only fallen over, I've got no damage on the car"

Later he talked about not wanting to lose his no claims bonus so offered to pay himself.
Got prices printed up by local dealer and showed him, he's not a happy bunny.

I think he reckons I'm trying to do him over - which I'm not.
Let my insurance know but said at the moment I'll pursue it with jim/his insurer direct. :( :( :(

The second he said "no damage on the car" I would have been on the blower to the insurance ! cheeky git

The lecky Mustang looks like a jacked up, beefy Mondeo. How Ford could do it to such an iconic name is beyond me.

I forgot to add Ollie sailed through MOT, but they said I would need new front tyres in 5000 miles, note to self stop doing wheel spins

On the TV the other day they interviewed a man who has a company that takes classic cars and removes the petrol engine and fits an electric motor, I'm hoping someone comes up with a petrol replacement that is environmentally friendly and can be used in classic cars

There’s a chap in the States who’s sticking a V8 into a Tesla although it’s a bit of a challenge getting it in.
