Moved the bikes out as it came out sunny and warm. Fitted a few more mats, and then rearranged the bikes again.

I really must get to grips and tidy it up as well. Finally a finished ZZRA1CD5F14-E4F5-4ECC-993F-D25328FA919C.jpeg521A7370-9D9E-44A0-AACC-67480C216FB0.jpegE877C67B-7670-42B2-AECC-09E8C77B078D.jpegEB3B44A1-200F-40EE-925B-16D537DE6EC3.jpeg9D70D810-BBAC-4624-89F5-40DFFB20B63A.jpeg

Made an essential trip on the 'bird for some plumbing supplies.

Traffic was monumental, back to pre-covid levels it seemed to me

Been to Chester today on the 'bird.
Needed some more plumbing bits plus a few other bits and bobs from other shops, as I was in the area. So used big givis plus top box.

On the way home saw a red bird in Chester at traffic lights turning into Waitrose/Evans Cycles

A morning ride up to Boston to pick up 7 bags of PPE, then off to Brampton Hut services to hand them off to another rider destined for London & the South coast.

A nice but cool 115 mile round trip before back to work this afternoon.

finished most of the garage floor covering. I inserted extensions into the bike stand areas. Then spent a long time rearranging the tool chests, picture to follow - I forgot. I finished the strip down the right 80245152-FB96-45D6-9A76-AE04F3396DCF.jpegF1AC1F01-A4D0-4284-A919-4733E1591CAB.jpeg

I finished doing my mat jigsaw. Then decided it was time to arrange my tools (oo-er missus)

anybody eagle-eyed enough to see what has my ocd boiling. Not the missing 15mm combination spanner - where the frick is that!

A few things there that would bother me if i was trying to put things in order rather than just throwing screwdrivers or pliers etc in the right drawer

First up all screwdrivers should be together all pliers etc should be together & all spanners should be together
Secondly that one bent spanner would drive me mental on show like that

The above is mainly why I have a drawer for each type of item & that's where they go out of sight

Ah, the bent spanner is a deliberate shape for the barrel nuts on the Commando, and on the AF spanner rack.
The JIS screwdrivers are separated. the ‘long’ screwdrivers are also separated. Everything has a logical accessible place to me

but, the one OCD piss-boiler needs to be found still.

There was a totally flat ring spanner for bolting down the barrels on the Triumph 350. No easy way of knowing torque

It’s all looking very tidy Simon, a job well done sirrah.
The piss boiler for me would be the long nosed grips on your screwdriver rack, I’m a bit like Slim I like everything of a genre in its own dedicated drawer with the exception of a set of metric combination spanner’s on open show like yours, handy like.
I’m thinking of doing my garage floor with tiles what material are they and did you source them locally?
