Video chatted round all of our friends just for a chat.

Watched last week's Emmerdale on x30 as my old secretary now has a permanent role. Amazing what lockdown makes seem interesting.

Made myself available for three days getting the shopping/prescriptions in formyhose in need locally.

Typed this post.

Was that not the one that had soft cams ? Or was it lemon ( Le Mans ) that had the rep of munching them ?

Not heard of V50 's having a cam problems.. plenty of other faults ... usually electrical the early electronic ignition ones were pants... they reverted to points and condensors on the mk3.. which is fine if you dont mind adjusting them every 1000 miles.
Dyna S system is great upgrade.
Clutch so heavy a gorrilla would wince...

A neighbour gave me a V50 for free & that was too much to pay, horrible bloody thing with more faults than you could shake a stick at (although I eventually got it running reasonably well)

In the end I off loaded it to a mate for (for nowt), he still has it 20 years on & keeps threatening to give it me back which would be the end of a 40 year friendship, he's even banned from turning up at our house on the POS that's how much I hate that bike

If he offers it again .... take it and sell it... good examples are fetching silly money now.
The early ones were full of italian charm..ie: faults
That said I never met a push rod engine that reved so willingly as a well sorted small block guzzi.

Been sorting out a wall bracket for the TV.

Had for a while but never got round to putting it up.

Almost done, apart from not being able to find the 10mm masonry drill bit.

I know I've got one in the garage, but can I find it!

Bracket fitted to the TV and not quite big enough holes drilled in the wall, just need to find the drill bit and finish the job.

Been there, and had one

Took the fuel tank off the Norton, removed the HT coils and brackets and polished them on the mop. Then refitted, copaslipped all the threads and added loads more earth wires to ensure continuity as the isolated engine needs more direct earth cables.

Couldn't do it even for a bucket full of money mate, I really do hate that bike that much

Are your tv screws 10mm? Slap 8mm plugs in and you should be fine.
