Got a break from the peds today
neighbours mobility scoot in the workshop today.. would not go above a crawl.. in fact you could crawl faster !!
Total strip... checked all the normal stuff ( electro-magnetic brake releasing ok, batteries good wig wag control pot all good..
Took the ECU apart and found two of the four mosfet control transistors had gone ..
AHAH ! Cheap fix !!
No bloody chance.. They are made of unobtainium !!!!
Ordered a replacement ECU..... Should be here Thursday

Get it reprogmmed and chipped

Sacked another window cleaner.

Another one who has invested over £30k in a van with water purifying equipment then think they can chuck the water via a brush in the general direction of the windows and its job done. We pay a lot extra to have the back of this place done as it gets the sea salt, yesterday they left it worse than when they started.

Got the replacement ECU for neighbours mobility scoot and fitted it ( game and a half .. it is one those ultralight travel scoots that has all the electronics sandwiched uo under the floor plate ) ..
Happy to report my diagnosis was correct and neighbour once again mobile
