Took delivery of THAT thing and a few minutes later my band saw arrived
Took about 1/2 hour to get the bloody thing together but all good :)
Worked out a new system for the auto choke on the ped engine and stuffed most of the lump back together
Fitting and testing tomorrow

Went for a ride on the 'bird to get various essentials.
Would admit to not perhaps taking the shortest route.
Good to get out and blow away some cobwebs

Wrestled with a load of steel until it bore some resemblance to a bloody huge gate, wrestled with it some more until it resembled a straight bloody huge gate, swore a lot came home for dinner

Watched three aircraft at different times today doing ‘essential’ aerobatics.

Watched three aircraft at different times today doing ‘essential’ aerobatics.

They're allowed to do that if the aircraft maker says in the maintenence manual that it's required to fly periodically.

The maintenance manual doesn't care which way up the aircraft is!

If you're that observant you might have noticed some UK based 737 max aircraft have been sneaking quietly back into the sky recently.

This morning I chucked the lump at the frame ( only held in with one bolt and the rear shock ) and started it up.......... 3rd kick
Couple of wee issues to sort out as in the zorst had not seated properly and I noticed the ferrel on the end of the rear brake cable was not on correctly, then it can go back in the pile and the next one started on

Saw a miracle on the way to the shop.

A BMW driving toward me pulled over behind a parked car on his side to let my little Leon go through.

Didn't notice if he indicated.

They probably had to pull over as they were laughing so much at a Leon.

:drive:

Finished #4 ped.. Went for a blast ( ??? !!!! ) on the common and all good
I am going to 'revisit' #3 as it is the same type and I have worked out a new way of activating the auto choke.. Only 10 minute job..
Then on to #5 which should not take too long.. its a fairly modern 4 stroke and hopefully will just need an oil change.. same for #6
#7 is going to be the bugger
It is a Yamaha Bop ( 2t ) and a shaft drive.. which is making all the wrong noises !!
