Sad duty today, a friend who I used to dive with had passed away at the age of 50 and due to the restrictions the family had decided on a private funeral so we, all suitably socially distanced, lined the road through the village where he lived, he got as good a send off as possible in the circumstances, although these restrictions are necessary they really are an affront to our human instincts.

Totally agree: did a funeral of a dear friend online a few weeks back, surreal. We just want to give his grieving wife a hug.
More what I plan to do today– binge watch the final seven episodes of Deadwood after watching five last night. Might sneak in the two hour long follow up movie as well.

Unfortunately not. Ship ran aground in the south seas, total loss and owners are claiming full value of the ship. I can't say too much more but the words 'good luck with that' spring to mind.
Forgot one of life’s basic rules ~ always check you have a towel before having a shower.

Replaced the valve in the bog again started carving a spoon (dont ask) went to get the little un from school & froze in the 15 minutes it took for her to come out
