Well I'm now thinking about rolling the bike out at the weekend now that we have dropped to Tier 2.
We seem to be about two weeks ahead of everybody else, probably down to the last European game played at Anfield
with spectators when this all initially kicked off. (not meant to be a pun)

Just watched a Sparrow hawk take a Collared Dove off one of the feeders in the garden. Made a bit of a mess on the patio, but it's p1$$ing down, so not going out to clean up all the feathers. Sparrow hawk flew off with the remains, so that's someone else's problem.

I was given a battery powered impact driver cos the battery was completely shagged.. New battery £107, so the bloke just bought a new driver ( £127 )
Took the pack apart, and ordered 16 x sub c nicads for £27.50
Batteries arrived yesterday so this morning fired up the soldering iron and rebuilt the pack
Perfect ! Nice cheap impact driver :)

Hope your daughter doesn't have too bad symptoms & gets well quickly. I know these things can linger. Looks like you could be on extended grandparent duty.

Looks like two of the kids have it, Emma isn’t too bad, just no sense of smell apart from getting the odd whiff of burning tobacco (she doesn’t smoke) we can’t go near them whilst they are isolating, I’ve just done a shop for them & left it on the doorstep.

So far the symptoms are fairly mild but she gets out of breath just going up stairs, her ex had the kids two days ago & is due to have them this weekend however he’s frightened that if he gets covid he won’t be able to do any overtime, if the kids test positive then he’s got to isolate anyway, I hope he gets it & his bollocks turn black & drop off.

Good news, got an email when I got home the range has reopened :aaaaa:.

You’ll be able to watch the deer & the antelope play
One of our members has erected a feeding station and table to one side of the 50 metre range, and he usually keeps it well stocked so it’s not unusual to see squirrels, songbirds and bunnies attending, a few years ago we shut down one set of butts because a pair of perigrines had nested in the cliff face above the bullet trap, a couple of cock pheasants are regulars and quite often when shooters are there, it’s quite bizarre to see chaps unload and let them by so they can feed, it does come as a surprise to visitors but it’s nice to see attitudes change.
