Still kickin' it!
Photo's

If you look here, sometime next month, you may be able to see pix of our track day (I think this is the site; hope I'm right!). The pix are watermarked, but it's a better facility to see what's worth buying (or not) than just paying (and hoping) on the day.

Cheers, fellas!

Well the lads have said it all and we had a proper day.. was really good to meet Andy and Chris and was even better to see how much they were enjoying it .. heres to the next one fella's  :yo::yo:

My day started with clock going off at 6 am.. wind and rain hammering on the window and fuggin freezing lol.. Torn something in my back a few weeks ago at work.. (been docs today .. a little late on hindsight ahemm) so that was killing me and Id got a trackday booked at Donni ..
back to bed then ??? nope ...

got drownd loading up and took me an hour and half on M1 due to roadworks and bad weather what normally takes 45 mins .. met Eric and had a proper moan but as always he was having none of it and soon squared me up and put me back on track so to speak lol... my mate is Eric :k

Sorted a garage and met up with Chris and Andy... heres me moaning about the weather and they had rode up on the bikes .. at least I was in the van...
Thought the weather was going to play a major part in spoiling our day ..
nothing of the sort, we had a couple of damp sesions and 3 dry sessions
and a load of good crack in between as the lads have said.

Was a really good shakedown for me as I havent done a trackday for over a year and I enjoyed it.. bad back an'all.. but to see Andy and Chris BUZZIN made it all worthwhile.

quite surprised as nothing has been mentioned about mr experienced tyre warmer episode to be honest, but we'll wait and see on that lol..

I have now met quite a few people of the Bird and Ixxra forums and can honestly say it has been a pleasure to meet some really nice folk,
If the rest of the seasons bashes/trips etc go anything like our trackday did, we are in for a quality time..

crackin day .. thanks lads

?Now? I didn?t mention the tyre-warmer episode because you?d been very brave (all day) and we didn?t have any tears or tantrums, even though your back was poorly. I mean - even if it hadn?t been, you still couldn?t have kept up with me, despite the fact that my gearbox was throwing cogs out at every other corner ? but that?s another story!

No. I?d decided to do the honourable thing and withhold the news that, when we?d gone for dinner in the circuit caf?, you?d left your front tyre-warmer plugged in? Not just plugged in, but plugged in and switched ON. You?d thrown it nonchalantly over your nice little Honda?s seat, which, after about forty minutes of unwelcome electrical warming, began to smoulder, thus attracting the urgent attention of the lads who (very, VERY fortunately for young David) had decided to consume their consumables in the garage. If they hadn?t been there and able to act quickly, young David?s little Honda would have graduated to become a full-blown Fireblade ? with the accent on the FIRE element, I hasten to add!

They dragged the (literally) red-hot warmer off the bike and, as it was too hot to hold, threw it onto a nearby plastic chair: MY chair, which immediately began to melt. Thus, or so I was led to believe, the previously tranquil area rapidly subsided into a mass of screaming, hopping, wildy gesticulating leather-clad apes who had suddenly realised that they were surrounded by cans (full of petrol), motorcycles (full of petrol), melting plastic and an electrically-fuelled, almost-beyond-control, fire.

All because a veteran of a hundred track days was ?out to lunch?.

All because the fussiest and most finicky bloke in the world, who?d been screaming out on forums throughout the nation for a front tyre-warmer, forgot to switch one OFF.

...Dunno what I've done wrong here, M8. :dunno: Thanks for the "heads up".

...Checked it in Firefox, IE7, Safari and Flock and the screens are identical on my computer and I've checked it out on a few others, too. There's definitely something amiss and I'd appreciate any help from those who know best (remember - I'm strictly an amateur in these matters).

If there's a quick fix - I'm all ears! :p
