Does your front go light when luggage is on?

Generall question really but I am looking for some info.

I know that the bird does go light when your 2 up (spesh with a fat bloke on the front) and full and laden luggage.

My question is, will the 6mm spacer thats used as an optional improvement for normal steering make things any better when laden?
