### Dodgy emails virus warning ###

Just want to warn peeps about a new virus that has just hit my company. It mentions visiting illegal web sites and appears to come from the FBI #### Delete it and dont open the attachment ####

Infact any dodgy emails just delete them and in particular never open attachments unless you are sure of their content. Most virus's are in attachments and not the email itself which means its generally safe to read email text.

If ever in doubt about virus's and Hoax virus warnings just do an internet search of some of the wording of the suspect warning and you will soon find out if its a hoax or not. There are a lot of hoax's about saying to pass the warning onto everyone in your address book, and these are generally borrox so dont do what they ask or pass them onto your friends!

Mind you the FBI one was quiet accurate - it listed down all the dodgy sites I've visited!!

I had an email purporting to be from the FBI yesterday, I deleted it immediately after the nightmare of having all the office computers infected some time ago.

People who create computer virus' should have lead weights tied to their feet and be strung up from their b-ll-x
