Im not sure Herge' would have been aware of that when he wrote the tin tin series.
But as a kid I really enjoyed reading the tin tin books, thought the artwork great.
A real step up from the rupert bear annuals I used to get for christmas.
Genuine Rupert annuals that are complete and unmarked can go for hundreds (depending on year) so an older missprint like that could be worth silly money. If it's intact then I'd get it valued when you can.I still have a Rupert annual from when I was a kid, the pages are in upside down & back to front, it was made like that & a little research says its a very rare mistake so I thought it worth keeping
The first of that twat Greta Thunberg's middle names is Tintin.Bit of daft info I came across..
Tintin means boys penis in Japanese
So fans like following a a prick !!!
Seems most apt....The first of that twat Greta Thunberg's middle names is Tintin.
Kind of says it all, really.

Don't forget my commission. The usual 50% plus travelling expenses, meals, accommodation, etc.I just had a quick look at that site & from my memory of the cover it looks like the 1940 annual, its been tucked away in a box for years but I do remember it being complete although well read & in quite good condition, will have to dig it out & see what is what
Thanks for the heads up mate
