Apparently Honda do a dedicated u-lock that sits in the designated area provided under the BB seat. Does anyone have one or does anyone have a u-lock that fits in the same space?
If so, any feedback would be appreciated.

I have a really good approved chain & lock which I use in the garage with my ground anchor, however the chain & lock ain't exactly portable on a long trip.

How Much.........

Did you pay for it Reefer ????

Just having a gander at Buster's Accessories website and I see they are doing the Abus 74HB for ?45-00:neenaw:

Still......I think I paid ?60 for mine last year so if you got it for less than that I reckon you got a bargain !!!!...and the official Honda one is around ?80 !!!!!!:B

you checked it for filler joe?:}

ok, ok i payed 49.99 for mine:B ..but i think joe has got the mild steel variety, and mine is hardened boron alloy steel

when i called m and p they said it comes in two types..mild steel or the latter..the latter being more expencive

if you get the 20mm barbed wire joe you can use the ulock through a wheel and lock the wire to it and a fence or something...hey presto nice little trip wire for those peskey kids

Tell ya something if this leaves the bike at speed then someone will be in trouble

Well Reefer my son, I spoke to Abus before purchasing said lock and they said, those they supplied to dodgy mail order outfits were of inferior quality (hence the price!). However, those supplied to recognised retailers are made of Atomically reinforced, turbo galvanised steel with side winders :f :}
