Well, today was the day chosen to make the announcment as to whether or not the Main bash would go ahead.....

We are really pleased to announce that we have at the moment some 58 people booked in for the bash, so it will go ahead...

All we will say is that we really need the 100 peeps to make it a success, so keep it coming in...

If we dont get the 100 people, then we will just cancel the band which will save us ?750 in costs and just use a disco for both Friday and Saturday evening/nights...

I will post a list of attendees in due course, but we do have a goodly mix of great partying folks already booked in at the moment...

Hopefully, what Jaws said about the bookings trebling over the next few weeks will happen... If so, then this will be one of the biggest bashes ever

Many thanks to everyone who has booked in so far, lets hope it keeps building at his tremendous rate to make this one hell of a weekend.

To keep you informed of the costs involved, we have these various costs..

Shower units.. 4 male & 4 female showers. ?550.00
Gas bottles to provide hot water for shower units ?80.00
4 x Porta loos for the campsite for night use only... ?100.00
Disco for Friday night & Saturday night ?250.00
Bungee slide for sunday fun... ?130.00
Tour guides for RAF Cosford 5 @ ?20 each ?100.00
Trophies for competitions 7 @ average ?7.00 each ?50.00
Food for friday curry/chili/ rice/naan etc.. ?100.00

This gives us a total of ?1360.00

We have a total of 54 people coming at the moment at ?25 each gives us ?1350 plus 4 peeps coming for one day at ?15 each is a total of ?1410.

Currently paid in is ?1235 in the account with another ?175 coming in from the guys coming from abroad (Holland & Denmark)

So the accounts are all up to day and correct...

Please note that even Jan & I have payed our money for this weekend, and are not making anything out of this (apart from a rod for our own backs...LOL)

Other facilities & entertainments/fun stuff will be posted as they come in...(ie.. mini moto's etc)

Comments from participants and maybe's are most welcome...

Best wishes & congratulations to all...

Rolfy & Jan

ps... I will be looking for volunteers to help with the rideout (approx 150 miles) hopefully stopping for lunch (to be sorted yet) at the Elan valley visitors centre near Rhyader in Wales

pps... We were wondering about a "themed" evening on Saturday night for a bit of a giggle....

Let us know what you think...

If you have to cancel the band, let us know, we may be able to put you in touch with some cheaper (but still good) bands.

Me & Soph are really glad this is going ahead. It will be great to meet some of you folks.

Rolfy, if you need a 'top up' contribution then let us know. Couldn't promise a fortune but would be willing to send a bit extra to make things work.

best, Ray

Well, we'd sure like to come with some BB's from the Belgium club. So far we have some people who are very interested, and I'm a bit of an Anglofile myself so...

Can anyone tell us where to register, what to do, do we pay in advance???
We would stay in a B&B in the neighbourhood, can't be much of a problem, can it?

See you all in may (hope so )

Be good to meet you all, any problems post again.

Glad there are more on the way to invade the BASH as well as us from North of the Border !!

I'm booked into a B&B in Bridgnorth which isn't too far away and has a good selection of places to stay, hope this helps.

Hi all,

great to hear you would like to attend from Belgium. k1ap

Some of you may know Jan & I as we have met some of the Belgium club whilst over at the German Treffens, which we have been to for the past 5 years...

Please could you get your booking forms in as soon as possible, so we know how many to expect.

You can you send your money to us at the address on the booking form.

Plenty of B7B's in Bridgnorth or Kidderminster (both only 10 mins ride from the bash site)

Looking forward to seening you all.

So we now have folks coming from Denmark (7) Holland (2 maybe more), and Belgium...

Its getting better by the day...

Starting to get excited now...

May have to try and get away for a few days prior to the bash... maybe Andorra & Spain h1d1ng2

Best wishes,

Rolfy & Jan

We're now having three bikes coming to your bash!

Concerning the payment, it would be much easier for us if there was a bank account on wich we could deposit the money, rather then sending money in an enveloppe ( cheques are not used anymore in Belgium ).
Could someone please give us a number ( not everyone, I will send the money only onceb0x1

)
And can we also mail the completed form to anyone? After all, this is the 21th century. I know the British are proud of there heritage, but still...
