de-linking bbird brakes ?

Ive seen much natter on here on the subject of de-linking the brakes on the bird and have come to the conclusion that i need to do this. So, my question is, can i get a ready made kit that just needs to be fitted or is this a MAJOR job requiring lots of pi#@ing about. I know someone is going to say "see 1200pete" and beleive me i wish i could, but its a bit hard from this little rock (Guernsey)

I think there is a kit you buy to de-link them, BUT I think its about ?300.

I may be wrong, and I know someone will correct me if so :bow:

All I can say is....

Forget 321Ignition... GO TO 1200PETE...No extra brackets, just a lot less hoses. If I remember rightly, we go down to four from fourteen...

I have just had mine done, and it makes it a far better bike to ride than it was...I had to get used to it again after 4 years of riding with linked brakes, but once you are back in the swing of it, the whole machine feels better. You can change the balance of the bike, and do silly things like rolling burnouts/stoppies etc...

I have just negotiated a 4 hose de link kit from Hel Performance, this kit will include all the fittings and blanks that you need and should be less than ?100 give us a shout if you would like more info.
