Bloomin stunnin.

By the way, you did better than we did in Paris - we lost a complete hotel. Luckily we found another (at 2am by this time) after Pete mounting the pavement in a similar disgruntled fashion. It was open. They had a room. The bike was as safe as houses where it was. Sorted!

Awesome photos!

I take it that after that little ride, the Bird is now 'run-in' :bow:

Look like you had put a lot of planning into the trip. Like you said Eric - it makes for some brilliant memories!

Got us eager for our next trip abroad.

Love to Lorraine

Hi, Guys...

Pete&Jen, John&Sandra :k

Thanks for your appreciation, folks! The bike is just over two years old and it's just about run-in now, having covered 49,780 miles. :eek:
(It doesn't sound much when you say it quickly!)

Nobs: thanks for your greeting - but we haven't been to Holland on the bike, so I guess we've never met!

Can anyone help with contact details for "Dave & Maggi"?

:beer:

Hi Eric & Lorraine.
As you say a great trip :bow:so much to do in so little time, and to all those that didnt go man8um ...
Glad you got home safely and the bike went well.
So as the moments go by we are already planning the rest of this year and of course next year too, things take time to organise and you have to plan ahead.
We have great memories of you both and it was a good laugh. :-:
If your plans in the future include a trip down our way you must give us a visit as you would be more than welcome, if you want some company again on holiday (Thats if you can put up with us dragging you out when you are trying to sleep (Lorraine!!)) give us a shout.
Its a shame that a few more never went they would have enjoyed it!
Looking back I think its about the one of the best tracks there is.... stunning.
We might have liked the holiday to have been a little longer, if we do it again a visit to Milan and lake Garda might be on the cards as its a long way to go just for a short visit.
Keep in touch on and off the forum.

Yes, Stan, we are lucky: we've got friends and acquaintances with whom we can share our experiences and, of course, we've got each other. Can't get luckier than that, M8! :yo: In all truth, most of this is Rhino's fault - he started it - and then Paul and Trudi made it even worse - we just got in with a "bad crowd" I guess... :rolleyes:

...LUCKILY !!!! :}

A genuine and heartfelt thanks to all who have helped to create so many lasting memories for us - we know there are many more to come!

Stay safe, guys...See ya soon! :beer: :k

I really really hoped the Catalunya trip would have worked like clockwork and i feel i let you down guys.... I'm so glad you got off your arses and did what so many would only sit at home and dream of.

Its not difficult to go abroad, forward planning is a MUST however.
My next trip abroad will be far better, i actually fancy Germany for my next mooch.
A bit of culture and history AND i know a smattering of da lingo innit. :bow:

Catalunya was a brilliant first trip for us, John - great company, great roads and great racing - it couldn't be faulted as far as we're concerned! For the rest of this year we've got Donington, Estoril and Valencia planned...See what you started?! :yo: :p :}

PS Nearly forgot to mention that my webhost's been having problems that seem to have been soted now! DA In Italy 2006
