The dishwasher broke, no not Mrs johnboy but the actual dishwasher. Looked online at our local Euronics shop, found what I wanted, compared prices with AO, Currys etc. and the local shop was a tenner cheaper. Placed the order at 08:19 this morning, 09:13 the phone rings, it's the Euronics shop, "really sorry but we don't have a fitter available today, will first thing Monday morning be OK?". Bloody awesome service!

Unless it’s changed in recent years Euronics is comprised of independent retailers…..hence the excellent service compared to the bigger players as it is the only way they will survive.

Yeah, loads of little shops, grouping together to gain better buying power so they can genuinely compete with the big players, with the added bonus of local quality service.

Arrived today.. fitted in 10 minutes.. Although advertised as being infra-red abled it was not
Clicked on the call me button and not even 30 seconds later they did
Explained the issue
Full refund immediately and they are collecting the duff unit Tuesday .. Actually apologised they could not arrange collection sooner

I bought a Three Internet with Legs 24gb sim from Amazon in early August for use on holiday. When I wen to use it in September it was faulty. I told Amazon using their returns system, and it said I had to return it via MyHerpes using their returns system and automatic ticket at the returning shop.

Obviously deep in france that wasnt an option for me so I left it until I got home on November. On my return I decided to take it to the local shop and they accepted it and gave me a label to prove I’d sent it back.

I fully expected to get told a week or so later that the return was invalid out of time - however only 2 hours after getting home from the shop I had an email from Amazon saying they accepted the return and had credited me. Sorted, no fuss.
