Corbin Seat for 05 Blackbird

w;;v We are new to this site, so please forgive us if we have posted this in the wrong area, but we cannot find out how to post a thread on the main page !!!

We have an 05 Blackbird, and are thinking of buying a corbin seat, as we find the std seat not very comfy after about 50 miles or so.

Has any one any experience of the Corbin seat on the Blackbird, and is it worth buying.

Hi Welcome

Have had the corbin (gunfighter/lady) for 5 years,, its been on two birds,, & is still comfy,,its wider than the stock seat & about 1 inch lower,, have been very pleased with it . cost Lorna (because she wanted it) ?230 from Busters, if you go the Corbin route you won't be disapointed.

You may have to wait 10 weeks or so for a Corbin. They do get good reviews though. Some of us use this guy, http://www.motorbike-seats.co.uk/
not the cheapest, but his work is good. There are others out there, do a search for seats and you'll find loads of info.

Do you know if the seat has changed from 03 to 05, as Corbin have advised they took their mold off an 03 blackbird, and would not commit that it would fit.

Not sure on mods,

But our seat was on a 2001 now its on a 2003,, don't know if they changed anything regarding the seat in 2005,, I am sure they didn't,, but others could prolly tell you if this is the case.
We got ours from stock at Busters,, no waiting time at all.
