In my occupation I have people come to work for me/with me (some times 1 to 1) whom are serving their time on Community Service, the norm seams to be 60 - 80 hours + to serve.
My boss won't tell me their crimes as he says he is not obliged to reveal this information to me, I'm not happy at this situation as I think I should have a right to know whom I'm working with.
What type of crime dose 60 - 80 hrs service fit, dose any one know? :h

I know one of them was a football hooligan, when the European Cup Finals was on he had to report in to his local plod station every time England was playing.
He said he enjoyed working with us that much that he might come back on a volunteer bases, some punishment that was then ? :dunno:

I am not sure which crimes warrant community service orders, but I seem to recall that the minimum hours is '80' and the maximum is '300' this must have been changed if you are getting them doing '60', unfortunately your boss is acting within the law by not informing you of their offences, all I would say is keep your valuables safe, be aware of strange smells emanating from their cigs, and don't let the buggers out of your sight.

The ones with the least hrs seam to be under 18 year old (they come with a social worker for the day) as for valuables/strange smells, etc to late been their, T shirt :xm
