I think if I was honest, which isnt often! I wanted a 'Bird on the spur of the moment. I had my 3yr old SP1 giving my wrists hell on the long journey's so after reading an article about this 'old mans' bike I thought I would nip round to my local dealer in Grantham (great service) and see what they had. Walked in the doors and there she was, Big Blue and Beautiful.

On asking about it I was told someone else was coming to test ride it later as they wanted one, I said have they paid a deposit to which the salesman said No, I said heres mine then !!
I didnt actually get to ride it until I had bought it and had it delivered home but as it was almost new, ex demo bike with 2k on clock what could be wrong with it, NOTHING, its georgeous and to be honest it could have been painted red/white/blue/silver/yellow or any colour it didnt really matter, but I think I was very fortunate that it was in fact B L U E.
