Superb rideout to Mablethorpe, sunshine, chips, ice cream and then a stop at Willingham Woods for a paddle.

Just like to mirror what PieBoy has said, thanks to some very good organisation (okay so we over ran the start point but hey!!) we had a great day out and are no longer Rideout Virgins! Couldnt have asked for more - sunshine, sea, fish and chips and a bit of a monsoon before getting back home slightly damp but still smiling.
I was a little apprehensive about the ride initially - thanks to Quiney for his patience as I know I was the slowest rider there but hopefully it didnt spoil your enjoyment too much having to look at Pollys rear end all the way.
We still didnt get round to meeting everybody but hopefully that will change next time around.

Thanks again - looking forward to next time

Solved the 'cant select neutral' problem on her SV, bloddy gear linkage fell off on M180 :xm Ended journey 2 up. Will have to collect bike tomorrow :xm :xm

Unfortunately she lookde over my shoulder on way home and now she thinks BB has a clock thats stuck on half past one

Arrived home slightly damp, thoroughly enjoyed the day meeting old friends and new ones too. Easy error to make at the start, petrol station name change and all, but at least we managed to meet up with everyone at the first coffee stop.

We were all virgins at some point on these rideouts, and at least we never lost anyone. Look forward to the next one, wherever it may be. Not starting from the 'Fina' petrol station tho'.

Many thanks to Clive and Quiney for a well organised ride and also to the sweepers for doing a great job too,.

Well thats another one for the books, cool turning to hot and sunny, cool again turning to a deluge for about 15/20 minuets, the ride went as they all do "flawless" we wont mention Mablethorpe, not Clive's gps this time,LOL,
there were some "memorable" moments one of which was Rhino giving MikeW a good hiding, see the pictures,
and heres one of me and my good mate Birdie, :k
all in all a "good" time was had by all, Clive Stuey and John Q along with Rhino should be getting home about now, thanks again for "coming over" to our side of the hills,
Gyppo turned up with his newly painted "spare belly" and a huge thanks to Roxxo and he knows why, cheers.

I must say Polly and I were quite intrigued by Gyppos belly when we first saw it. Very tardis like and it seemed to provide a flask of never ending coffee from it too!!

yeah lensman

yeah it was nice on the a15 ( i'm fine on the straights, not fully confident wiv the brakes as yet. got some goodrige hoses to fit, hopefully it'll sort em out) had a grin from ear to ear right up to the warning of high winds on the bridge then it went rather quick and had a sharp pain in ma pelvis thought ma back had gone again but no it was julie putting her horse riding training into practise again. never felt a grip like that before but i'm sure i will from now on (rather regular hopefully)

yeah we'll keep in touch, you'll have to stop by for that cuppa at some time

cheers andy and jules

Great day .....

and speaking as the only "injured party" :} I can report that my shoulder hurts like hell now that I'm back home, and it is turning the same colour as my bike!

Nice to be able to faces to names etc, hope to be able to meet again, preferably without a 2 year gap in between! Excellent orgainsation as usual, and despite the side wind and monsoon, I hope I can speak for all of us and thanking all concerned for making a great day out.

And next, Rhino, you can use the loo first, I ain't racing again :}

and Ladies, what did your parents say about taking sweets from a stranger ..... wasted lesson there methinks  everyone of you!

mike,

(sometimes known as "stumbly" )
