Update on buying clear front signal lenses.....
I spoke to www.ClearAlternatives.com today on the tele.
The new lenses are a complete molded replacement for all model Blackbirds. Just like stock with the lenses molded to the reflector back. Included is the amber bulb. They are being molded as I type and will be ready for sale in appox. 6 weeks (middle of May). They retail for $74.99 us. They are making up 100 pairs to start. If I can put together an order for 20 pairs, then I can get distributor cost which is $56.00us pair, I think that is apoxx.38pounds. I am willing to put up my credit card to hold the sale and either ship them to Europe by post cheaply with no duties (gift) or bring them with me to the Bash in June for free freight/Vat. I am diffenently getting a pair for my Bird (I hate those yellow/orange ones stickin out for all to see).
Also available are the Clear Tail lense at dist. cost if wanted or for that matter any other bike lenses at dist. cost. as long as I put it all together as a package buy.
If interested email me at johns@bellsouth.net and will begin the process. I told the owner I would get back with him in two weeks to let him know of what I can put together.
Prices on any lenses are available if interested.
Also I am planning on putting a pair of full lense decals on mine from www.sportbikedecals.com A pair of woody's on a black back ground would look brill over the clear lense. Check it out. I am going to work a deal with the owner of sportbikedecal's also if anyone else likes that idea also. He is licensed to make all the Honda logo stuff here in the USA at very good prices.
Let me know if interested and maybe Jaws will make this a sticky for a couple weeks.
If not enough interest after a week then I will try to combine the order with riders from the US club also to meet the minimum order size.
