OK, my Bird is 26 years old.
Now, trawling through the tinter web there is a great deal of confusion as what constitutes a classic vehicle.
Some say 25+years & up to 40 years.
I can't seem to pin point a true classic date. Anyone want to enlighten me.

According to the Roya Automobile Club ( the RAC :- ) ) 25 years a vehicle can be termed classic for the purpose of insurance but 40 years is the official age the title is valid
Hence the confusion
Sotherby's will not list a vehicle as classic until it is 40 years old

I use Bikesure and have found them reasonable, but you do need to talk to them to sort out the best deal.

You will a quote on line (not multiple bikes though) but talking to them pays off.

Be careful with multi vehicle policies, I believe it was Barry (ptp’s dad) who nearly had a car impounded as the Police said his daughter wasn’t a named driver
