Anybody watch this? Can’t help thinking that these parents are creating unnecessary pressure & psychological problems for their offspring.

The reaction of the children when they lose tells me they are under too much pressure, definitely slap the parents, possibly charge them with child abuse.
Nothing worse than seeing parents impose their own wishes and desires on their kids.
I have a relative who was determined a) their first born was going to be a barrister. He wasted five years of his life studying law via two failed university courses before finally dropping out completely, now works happily in IT and b) doing the same to second born. She took a different route, rebelling completely against parents and running with the wrong crowd for a while before taking herself off to medical school, now a paediatrician.
You can guide them, but never force them.

It’s either incredibly bad taste or shocking.
It gets right up my nose when I hear or read people saying "there's nothing worse than............" only for them to follow up with some mundane shite. That's about as bad as a hole in your sock. I once made the mistake of switching channels on tv about 25 years ago to hear Delia Smith say that there's nothing worse than a soggy soufflé, FFS!
