I trust you all had a good weekend. I spent the whole weekend fitting a wooden floor in my conservatory. Perfect biking weather and muggins ere was sweating his tits off in doors. The upside was that the wife cleaned the bike. Yes, you heard me right, "The Wife".

Anyway, back to the point of this thread. I just purchased (on-line) 200 pairs of Max-Lite ear plugs for ?17.40 (inc VAT) + Just over a fivere for postage. I think that the postage was a bit steep but it still is a good deal considering I last purchased 30 pairs on e-bay for ?9.99. I think I probably got the website from this forum (but can't remember) so forgive me if you all know about it.

Ear plugs

I have been getting an infection on and off in my left ear for a while now and think it may be my ear plugs ( do you thing 3 years use is a bit much ) - does anyone know the contact details of anyone who does the permanent ones? :bow:

there was an article in RiDE a couple of months ago about earlpugs and the germs they carry.

I just regularly use a new pair.

Ear Plugs

Used the foam ones for many years but sometimes got infections or they were just plain uncomfortable .Took the plunge and got a set of moulded ones from Ultimate and best move as they fit perfectly every time, no infections . They have just developed a very soft compound which is excellent

Just a word of caution here
i had a pair from these people and although they fit ok when they arrived i had loads of problems getting them ie lost /cant find them/no records of the sale it took ten weeks to get them delivered.
As i use them for work and play i cant afford to be without ear protection
I now use " hearing resolutions" who supply the driving standard authority examiners / police/ hospitals. I went to see if they could repair ( due to my own fault) a pair they supplied 12 months ago to the effect that without question i got a ear examination and another pair of moulds taken supplied free of charge ( beat that for a BMF bargain) excellant service and they know what there talking about.
