Pixie and I are going up to scotland next weekend (two up).We were thinking of getting a "chatter box" system for the journey(we have seen it for ?9.99).
I was wondering if it is ok for a for a short-time solution,we will eventually go for a bike to bike system as we usually both take bikes on long journeys. Is it any use at 80-90mph (on a private road of course officer).
Any info would be appreciated.
(does have mute incase Pixie starts singing? :B )

to be honest............

I would say no it will not be any use at that speed. Really the only one that does work and does what it says on the box is Autocom. Alot of money to spend for one trip. We have tried Nady, and Backchat, the latter being the best. Costing about ?50 but non electronic. Uses principal of bridge to engine room! Through tubing. Bit of a pain really.

Autocom are really the best.

BUT for 9.99 what have you to lose except a tenner. If it doesn't do what it says then take it back to the shop and complain after the trip and get your money back!!!!!!! Nothing lost then, except maybe a few conversations!!!!!!!

Have to agree with BiF, it won't work at those speeds, although you might hear the odd scream?

If you wrap a big thick scarf round your neck and tuck it in under your helmet so you dont get any wind coming in it will be ok, othewise it is only good for 40-45 MPH. having said that if you're both going up there at this time of year you will NEED a bloody big scarf round your necks anyway. 8ree! 8ree!
