Hi peeps,

I know I don't post on here very often, but you may recognise me from the bashes over the last few years! Cad's long suffering other half!!!

I am cycling from London to Paris in August to raise funds for the Kent Air Ambulance. www.justgiving.com/sharonbowman

In training already, gym, boxercise, cycling etc... nothing but exercise!! My problem now is which bike do I go out on when the sun is shining! The push bike for the Honda CBF600???

If anyone wish to make a small donation towards my Challenge it would be greatly appreciated.....

Many thanks..

Sharon:neenaw:

Paypal is fine!

Many thanks for the support...

my email address for paypal is - sharon.bowman@jaytee.com
I hope that is all the info you need!

I think I must be mad to be doing this... Am also particpating in a Charity Ride in 4 weeks time.. Castle 100, 1 day, 100 miles round Kent, visiting a variety of Castles in aid of Medical Action Reserach. Am also doing a London to Brighton run in June for the British heart foundation!!

The only trouble is that when the weather is OK, I don't know which bike to go out on!!! Motorised or pedal power!! Bought the new CBF600SA 6 weeks ago and have hardly been out on it yet!!! Bring on the good weather!!!

See u all soon! x

Keeping fit is hard work but to push yourself this far for charity is indeed most admirable

An update!

Hi guys! Just to give you an update on training progress...
Particpated in the London to Brighton ride on the 15th June and completed the 54 miles in 3 hrs 44 mins!! My target was 4 hours, so pleased with the result and also please that I managed to get up Ditchling Beacon without walking!! Managed to get a puncture but was sorted within 5 minutes. I have to say if anyone wants a good day out, this is a good one, although 27,000 people particpated the atmosphere is great, will do it again next year!:yo:
The Castle 100 back in May was a little more difficult, 2 punctures and some lack of support from organisers, but completed the 100 miles in 8 1/2 hours!
Giving exercise a miss now for a few weeks while I'm on holiday. I'll still be on 2 wheels but the motor version touring round Europe!! Only 2 days to go!!

Once back training will start again and before I know it I will be hitting the London streets again for the big one!!! I can cope with the 70 miles in 1 day, its just 3 days on a row that I'm worried about!!! bl4hbl4h
