I know that for some reason it’s not cool to like Celine dion but I think she has an amazing voice, many think the same as her concerts sell out even when the cheapest ticket is nearly £200

There’s no doubting she has a voice but she’s so f’ing boring it’s unbelievable. All she ever sings are power ballads and they all sound the same. If she’s your bag, knock yourself out but I’d rather shit in my hands and clap than go see her.

Take a look at Tina Turner in Arnheim on bbc iPlayer. Stunningly good show, even if you don’t like the music the stage show and dance troupe are worth watching, absolutely fabulous.
John Miles on guitar is also pretty tasty.

After having paid about £60 for good seats at The O2 for The Rolling Stones I passed on the opportunity of paying from memory about £140 to see Tina a week or two later. Apparently the place was less than half full.
Around the same time Prince did 29 nights at the O2 and every ticket was £29. Packed every night.
