What the ? Cat litter

Was out doing what little shopping I needed on Saturday & was asked by Mrs L to get some cat litter & a couple of boxes of cat food.

Nope, couldn't find any of either in Sainsburys or Tescos.

I have this theory. In view of the lack of toilet roll, the same self centred w***ers who are panic buying everything else but were too late to stock up on toilet rolls have got it into their heads that cats don't use toilet roll. therefore if they eat cat food & use cat litter, they won't need toilet roll either.

Cat wasn't happy at 6.30 this morning being shoved outside in -2 degrees.

Having been to get Womans daily paper today, I can report there was NO empty shelves in Sainsburys

Popped into Tescos at lunchtime. Lots of empty, or close to empty, shelves (beer, wine, spirits, snacks, sweets, paracetamol, any kind of soap product, meat and fish, tinned foods, bog roll, etc.....) but still plenty of fruit and veg. Weird.

All the steak and kidney lock openers are buying all the shite because they don’t understand the concept of proper food. I’ve said it once and, as I’m already going to hell, I’ll say it again: I really hope this virus cleanses the gene pool, directly or indirectly, I’m not fussy.
