Who?s fishing? :dunno:

And I apologise for the serious tone of the reply... (it's been a bad week) :bang:

<o></o>The simple fact of the matter is that since Rossi has come on the scene he has not had any real competition. <o></o>

<o></o>Last season if he hadn?t run out of luck he?d have walked it.<o></o>

<o></o>This season his competition appears to be what? <o></o>

<o></o>Stoner. Who spent last season on his backside. Now he?s got a front that works he?s doing better. But his bike don?t go round corners as well as Tinas. Should Ducati correct this however, we may have a fight on our hands?<o></o>

<o></o>You mentioned tyres?. Tina has had one bad tyre. He?s got the best qualifiers and most would say the best bike bar a Ducati on a fast track. He?s finished 2nd to the Ducatis on a fast track (turkey aside), everywhere else he?s been quickest.<o></o>

<o></o>Honda aren?t up to speed, neither are Suzuki or <st1:city w:st="on"><st1>Kawasaki</st1></st1:city><o></o>

<o></o>So please, could you tell me how Tina has a tough job ahead? :dunno:<o></o>

<o></o>I admire your attempt, I used to admire Tinas riding, but please don?t talk up what appears to be nothing more than a two horse race using unequal machinery depending on the venue?<o></o>

<o></o>If I speak with fork tongue please correct me?

:k<o></o>

...?Perspective?, ?Conjecture?, ?Speculation?.

Put any of your (alleged) ?no-hopers? on Rossi?s bike and let?s see what happens! Remember, they got the RCV and it took years for them to catch him on the ?uncompetitive? M1. It?s not the bike ? it?s the bloke who's on it that matters.

Have a wobble round some of your local tracks and then you won?t be so dismissive of the skills that don?t quite match up against Rossi?s massive talent.

Barros, Biaggi, Gibernau, Melandri, Hayden, Hopkins, Pedrosa, Stoner. These men are multiple Champions in their own right and, while I?m happy to make banter about them, I?ll always hold them in the highest regard in terms of their sporting abilities and achievements. Be mindful, though, that Rossi has outshone them all for almost a decade ? nobody could do that simply by being ?lucky?.

After Rossi retires, maybe we should just look at the record books for a more objective view, eh? :-:

Roll on, MotoGP...Roll on, Rossi! :yo:

Post Warning; I'm only trying to have a bit of a laugh, please don't get annoyed if I'm wrong. Just take a few long, deep breaths and try to relax, the pain will recede once you are able to accept the fact that Valentino Rossi is the greatest racer of ALL TIME and of EVERY UNIVERSE (parallel or otherwise) EVER. Thank you. :p

That'll be the RCV that had all the front end handling problems immediately after he left is it?

No need petal, I used to race myself and I was pants... Raced against Terry Rymer when he was in club racing.

I think also you'll find somewhere on here where I call Tina a genius...

And how many premier class champions do we have amongst those guys? How many 500cc/Moto GP World Champions has he ever beaten?

One. Kenny Roberts Jnr

Yep, and we'll probably see what we can see now, that Tina's true talent could never be truly measured, unfortunately, because he never had the competition that other 'greats' had.

None of this is his fault obviously, but unless someone comes up to his level, whatever that is, I fear we'll never see how 'great' he is...

You know I am not very bright, but,

is Lebowski saying that the current and recent

MotoGP riders are ALL very average and Rossi is only a

little bit better than average ...... or did I misunderstand

again ?
