For Those With caravans motor homes and anything else needing bottled gas.

It would appear there is a shortage of Propane gas. I noticed it late on last year when we ran out of gas up the van. Had to Nick one out of my sisters van until I could get one.

Have brought an empty 6kg one back and finally got a refill yesterday. All the local suppliers are telling the same I heard last year.... There's not a lot about at the min.

So don't leave it til you need it as you might end up without.

Old technology. I use refillable tanks, Jaws too I expect, so any garage with a lpg pump I refill at. Almost 1/4 the cost of calor.

Yup.. Two 11 kg refillable bottles cost less than £16 to fill ...

I don’t use Calor gas but appreciate your post.

Plaenty living in remote areas use bottled gas for cooking purposes and they I am sure would be grateful to learn of a possible shortage.
