Bert and the MUDland mincers have thrown down a challenge. They have nominated Jon & Anya (poor souls) as mincer ride out organisers and reckon they can achieve 6-10 ride outs this year. I reckon that's comical and we can achieve that in two good months !!! I suggest we rise to this challenge and have a small wager that we can out ride their ride outs. What does anyone think?

You can tell that Bert

has no idea about size, has he!!!!!!!!

I would think that we could make that.

We need to lay down the criteria.........what makes a ride-out?

Quantity of Bird/bikes, distance, etc etc.

Let us know when......

I presume from the above that you will be organising them?
Or were you hoping someone would unwittingly volunteer themselves.
Seriously i think we could manage a few rideouts between us.

A ride out in my book is a minimum of 300 miles , hardly worth bothering otherwise. R'gards Rob.

Ed, in response to your query: no way. Why:

last time a lead a ride out from Boxhill to the Ace Cafe I managed to loose a few bikes (apparently I was going to quick :rolleyes: ). Not sure that we need a co-odinator, however if we do he/she should be willing to do so and should be democratically elected by the Southern Scratchers. Therefore, if any fancies the role please step forward.

Bert, are we 'avin a bet on the number of ride-outs then?

If so, we need to agree what constitutes a ride-out (i.e. not a mini-bash). Proposed conditions are, as follows:
1. A minimum 200 mile round trip from the point of departure to ride-out venue;
2. A minimum of 8 bikes to be in attendance;
3. Photographic evidence of bikes in attendance and venue rode-out to required.

What d'ya say then Bert :neenaw: how many d'ya reckon ya can achieve???

JoeBoy~~

Gorra be 300 miles m8 - 200 is a "stroll in the park" for us Midland Massif

Pictorial evidence includes photo'd of mileometer before and after!!

Could also put up a prize for the "longest mission" during the season?

Kebab Man, myself a few others are doing Monza GP in May - they reckon about 2700 in 5 days

Our target???? To beat the southern poooooooooftahs
which will be easy to do
:f :f :f

Challenge on?

Ok, 300 miles, 8 bikes minimum, agreed.

Monza??? That IS a "stroll in the park" mate, we're off to Jerez for the GP in "SOUTHERN" Spain (see the ride-out forum and :B )

My mate Dave (who is picking up his new BB on 18.01.03, joining the website on 19.01.03 and becoming a Southern Scratcher at the same) is off to Monza and then he'll be joining us in SOUTHERN SPAIN - now that is a ride-out.

XXScrapper, if we can get 8 bikes together it'll count, however I doubt if the MUDland mincers can get 8 bikes together for Monza 'cos half of them 'av never heard of it & the other half think its a model of car once produced by Opel :f :}

Nice one

Excellent one joe, they will get lost once they get past the M42 and as for the M25 roadabout....they could be going round that for days before they realize it doesn't actually end. :f

Is your m8 going to Mazda with the muddy mincers cos if he is.....hmmm?

Dave, with the mincers??? Leave it out!

Dave normally goes to Monza in a Bentley or a Rolls, but as he'll have the BB he's decided to take that & his mates will carry his luggage in their cages for him :} takin' the piss or what???
