A couple of vids from a recent trip to Cairns .

The first clip has the camera on a Bird on the Gillies Range which has 292 corners in 19km and climbs about 800 meters.

the second clip has the cam on a Daytona 675 running behind the Bird down another range in the area, The corners quickly change from nice long sweepers into tight and sometimes long radius turns.

Went diving on the Gt Barrier Reef based at Cairns and the inland roads are bloody excellent - pity we had a rental car! Also found a fantastic private aircraft museum inland from Cairns which had some extremely rare aircraft. (A Bell Airacobra for one with a contra-rotating prop - apparently one of only 2 left).
