Busters, Card fraud???

One of the obly time I used my card on the net was to buy a pair of cans for the BB from Busters.
Two months later I got a letter from Visa stating they were monitoring my account and had noticed unusual activity on it. A debit for euro 973 which was exactly equal to the amount that maxed my credit limit. This 973 euro was paid to a reputable mail order company in the US. Visa refunded me the money and I cancelled the card.
I may be wrong here blaming Busters, but the only other time I used the card was to buy theatre tickets in London.

The guy who started M and P sold out to managament..

A couple of years later he started Busters..

last month he sold Busters to M and P.. So anything going on is now M and P's problem ( and books are running on what the next company to start up will be called and where exactly in Wales it will be LOL ! )

not quite true john....the guy your talking about,mark collings,bought M+P's back from the guy's who bought it off him. so now owns both.as far as i know..they will both still be trading as BUSTERS and M+P direct.

That link on the fazer site has been taken down because Busters have threatened them with legal action so they don't want anyone else saying stuff that can get them in trouble... my PERSONAL opinion on the matter is that Busters are a good/helpful company but they "seem" to have someone working for them that is scamming people.

Just come back from the bank trying to sort out Fraud on my bank card!

The police suggest blame to be with a petrol station I used at 6.50am (?2000 fraudulently spent by lunchtime) ................... I used Busters the night before:eek:

Hate to tell the cops their job and hate to blacken Busters good name ( I still rate the firm very highly and get on well with many of the folk who work there ) but this is just too many coincidences to be coincidences !!

I have used Busters a couple of times only with no problems, however I will be having another chat with the police.

Who ever used my details may not have been to bright since they used ?120 to top up their mobile ............... the number appears on my bank statement!

Oh and FB I do use Jaws (and Blackbird spares before the recent demise) as often as I possibly can I value the expertise.
