Hey Bertious, you'll only be a short hop from the Nurburgring while you're around that area. If you went there, you could get your own picture taken with your knee down instead of nicking mine :neenaw:

But seriously though, why go and take a look :dunno:

It only takes 4.5 hours to get there from Calais - if you're already in Luxembourg then you're not more than a couple of hours away at most.

The roads leading there are fantastic on their own and if you go there Saturday evening it's open from 5.15 until 7.30. Pay about a tenner a lap and have a look at what it's all about - definitely a 'must do' experience for any petrolhead :bow:

Absolutely Mike, you've seen the light :yo: I'd love to show him round but there's two problems there:

1) I won't be going until (hopefully) June
2) If I rode my bike slow enough for him to keep up then I'd probably fall off :}

Seen the light!?
the only "light" I remember seeing on the 'Ring was that one of yours as you came up behind me on yer 'Bird, one minute you were a dot in the distance, next moment crawling all over the back of my Ace, I'll not forget just how quick that made the 'Bird look.

I'll be going again this year around the 10th - 11th July en-route back from our hols in the south of France, calling in on the way back to Hamburg. (Andrea wants to go around again, strange to think that less than 3 years ago she had never even sat on a bike, and now she wants to repeat the Nurburgring again. She's been around it on the ZX9, now she wants to use the Strom. )

Plucky wench!

or daft sod.....

Riding slow for Bert?,
well you could always let him get as far as Adenau before you set off ............ you'll still catch him before the Karrousel !

have a safe one

Mike
