Brunch Sunday 27 Feb - postponed

Due to the awful weather forecast, we think we'd better postpone this until anyone is likely to want to ride a bike!

Sunday is likely to be anything from minus 3 to +3, conditions anything from snow to rain via sleet. Hardly conducive to wanting to go for a spin is it?

We'll reorganise it when the weather is not quite so horrible.

Whilst we don't have a problem riding in the wet we didn't want people who said they were coming to feel obligated to turn up if they didn't want to.

If coming from the Derbyshire area - as some were, they have been closing roads up there off and on all week.

We will be here, the tub is here, the sausage is currently in the freezer, it's not a problem if people do want to come. But with the wind chill factor and all that we all thought it's probably a more sensible idea to put it off until the weather is a bit more reliable and people can get here and relax rather than thinking they don't know what they will be riding into, on the way home.
The Blackbird doesn't offer the rider the best weather protection in the world, if Pete wants to go for a ride this weather he would be on the Trophy not the 'bird. I wouldn't be on the pillion of either, thanks!

Perhaps also if we wait a bit we might get a few more takers!!
