BRNO - session results - Capirossi fastest

Results from FreePractice 2 added below:

Valentino Rossi has put an end to Loris Capirossi?s early domination at Brno by posting the best time of the day on his last run in the second free practice session: Rossi moved up from eighth to first, beating Capirossi?s fastest lap in the closing stages of the session.

Capirossi had dominated the first session and was quick again in the second free practice as he moved ahead of Marco Melandri as the faster rider with less than 15 minutes to go. While the Ducati Marlboro consistently lapped in 1?59, Rossi ? who escaped injury in a crash in the first session - only broke the 2? barrier on his last two attempts but eventually managed to beat his compatriot by 0.088s.

Sete Gibernau moved up to third ahead of his Movistar Honda team-mate Marco Melandri, while Kenny Roberts was fifth fastest aboard the Suzuki. Carlos Checa was sixth fastest on the second factory Desmosedici., while American riders Nicky Hayden and Colin Edwards were seventh and eighth respectively.

LOL! We both posted that at the same time Eddy......

On the website, at the bottom of the left hand black menu click 'Live Coverage'...........at the moment the track and on-board feeds are showing as non-active, the live timing is 'activated'............ at most European rounds you can pull the live coverage of all the free practices and the qualifying........

I'll Skype you when the next MotoGP sesh starts...........even if the live coverage isn't working, the Live Timing is very very clever..............Sam
