Well, after an absolutely superb couple of weeks away, it is with regret that I must say that I am never, ever going on a cruise again that originates from Europe or the Middle East. Why? Because they are full of British.

Our cruise was indeed shplendid but over 65% of the punters were from the UK. Unfortunately, most of whom had the manners of a goat and had no idea how to conduct themselves. I actually found myself embarrassed to be British at times.

From now on, I’m sticking to trips in North America and the Far East. Yes, they’re generally full of ham shanks but, as uncultured as the can be, they’re mostly educated enough to put some fuckin’ clothes on when going into eating areas and not to be on the piss at ten in the morning.

Anyone that doesn't put a shirt on when going into an establishment of any sort in a foreign clime can be guaranteed to be a Brit.

It wasn’t meant to be news, Andrew. It was a brief, and unfortunate, recap of our holiday.

And you forgot to mention women that think it’s acceptable to walk into an establishment wearing a bikini. More often than not, the bikini in question is usually 16 sizes too small.

Another thing that irritates the living daylights out of the both of us - what is it with Brits aboard that they want to strike up a conversation and become friends with everything that loosely resembles a human being that strays into their orbit. I feel like telling them to sod off. I’m on holiday with my wife and prefer to spend my time with her.

Winter might be reasonably tolerable as all the badly behaved, piss-head Brits will be too busy misbehaving at home, supposedly celebrating Christmas. Perhaps I should have been more specific and said imagine going to Benidorm for a fortnight in July or August.
