Although vacuum bleeding brake lines is far from new, most home mechanics do not have a vacuum pump to hand
I stumbled across this video and thought it well worth passing on

Yes, those are fine. I’ve used them previously and they work well, keep the end submerged while bleeding

Yep, I’ve got one of those, works fine, wrap some ptfe tape around the nipple thread to stop sucking air in.

Spanner, hose & jam jar with 2 holes in the lid is all you need for any bike, I cant count the amount of times my old gaffer used various bits of shite to do the job badly where as patience & a little time gets brakes the best they are ever going to be ….. I think that's kinda important

Can't beat zip-tieing the lever back to the bar overnight to get the last bit of air outta the line and firming up the lever.

Never ceases to how tying up brakes overnight hardens them.

Ain't finished learning yet, cause me brakes ain't hard enough...apparently?
I was playing with the front brake on the trike for ages. Even with my nice new vacuum pump I could not get them hard...
After stripping the front master cylinder I find the rubber is split. £50 for the rebuild kit :(
