The 15 year old Oxfordshire schoolboy won Rookie of the Year for his performance in the 125cc class.

Graduating from the MotoGP academy in 2005 he took 20 points this season with a best placing of 8th in Japan.

Well done young sir.. good to see one of our own getting a chance of comming thro the ranks that are normally only available to the Spanish and Italians ...

no mean fete that ...some quality riders out there in that class..:yo:

where did he finish in the overall standings Sam ??

think he mist a few rounds as well with a broken wrist :dunno:

His 20 championship points gave him 19th overall out of 29 riders........ :bow:
