I went past Bosworth water park today & the place was rammed, there was a copper on the gate saying its shut now & people were stood in the middle of the road arguing with him, those in cars were driving past parking on the verges & then trying to find a way through the fences ………………. utter tossers the lot of them!

Dickheads the lot of them. I've been on furlough since 23rd March and I'm going nowhere. I spend an hour or two on the push bike most days and me and the mrs go out for a drive with the roof down when the weather permits with no stopping. She works in a socially-distanced office and visits Asda once a week. That's our lot.

It seems the only places you can gather in a crowd without any fear of catching Covid is a BLM protest, according to the media.

Totally agree..in fairness plod estimated c2000 idiots, in normal times it would have probably been 200,000.

The beach down here was rammed yesterday. Apparently there is a mass of rubbish to be cleared from what is normally pristine. I suggested it is just left there until the hot spell ends to deter visitors. Or if they want to they can enjoy sitting surrounded by it. Hopefully they won't come back.

I was looking at some of the photos of rubbish left behind yesterday. I've also seen a few photos from Southend, Mrs L has family there & took some while walking their dogs. I don't understand it, if people are prepared to carry loads of stuff there, why can't they carry it back again. I've seen photos of nappies, blankets, broken sun brollies, as well as the usual cans, plastic bags, food wrappers etc.

My first reaction would be to leave it all there - if these idiots are prepared to create all this filth, let them sit in it. Sadly, as well as mass complaints from those that left it in the first place, there's the environmental impact to wildlife in the surrounding area to consider, so there's no easy answer other than what ogr1 said. We can hope!
