MAN on the PAN
good lesson for the future

at the end of last year we had a lad come in to take his direct access training and from the start he told us that he knew his way round a bike but wanted to be legit for the road.
KC as i will call him was as good as his word and an easy 3 days was spent trying to rid him of some bad habits he had picked up over the years . So off on his test he went with all confident on him passing the test . 40 minutes later he returns all smiles until the examiner tells him he has failed !! the reason given was that he constantly used only one finger to brake with ( a habit i thought i had knocked out of him) the examiner they told him that he should allways use 4 fingers and would be grateful for this advice should he ever pass his test and get a BIG bike, to which KC told him that for a living he raced in the VIRGIN YAMAHA R6 COMPETITION AND 4 FINGERS ON THE BLOODY FRONT BRAKE WOULD KILL HIM!!:f
We decided that perhaps KC should take his test at a different test centre and he duly passed the following week:beer:
