He wasn’t doing too bad a job until he married Princess Nut Nut.

Aside from that, he has a track record for telling Tom Peppers. Indeed, if I’m not mistaken he was fired from one job when he was a journalist for lying. Happy to be corrected if I have my wires crossed.

I have no idea if this is actually true, but in keeping with ops normal here I see no reason not to use it :)

Martin Hammond, who was Johnson’s housemaster and taught him classics, spotted early on that the former Foreign Secretary and prominent Brexiteer showcased a certain irresponsibility and inattention to facts.

Writing of him in a school report in April 1982, he said: “Boris really has adopted a disgracefully cavalier attitude to his classical studies . . . Boris sometimes seems affronted when criticised for what amounts to a gross failure of responsibility (and surprised at the same time that he was not appointed Captain of the School for next half): I think he honestly believes that it is churlish of us not to regard him as an exception, one who should be free of the network of obligation which binds everyone else.”

Seems a fair appraisal of the floppy haired gimp.

Bottom line is Boris gets things done. I don't expect a politician to be honest. A politician's prioity is to stay in the job. Last honourable politician was Robin Cook. Hated what he believed in generally as a left winger but admired his ethics.

What?
"Boris gets things done" How the hell would any of us know when all that comes out of his mouth is lies, confusion, and strange aside not relating to the subject matter

He got brexit done I suppose and what a bloody farce that has been, weak kneed bullshit artist that he is he caved in to everything europe wanted without a fight, because he didn't want to leave the eu in the first place despite his promises

Do I really need to mention the complete mishandling of the covid crisis ... thought not! every goverment job he has had he has made a complete balls up of it then lied about it an moved on to the next cockup

Bloke wants a severe kick in the bollocks and chucking in the Thames where he would be more use that he is at present

And none of that is even because he's a tory even I admit there are some tories who genuinely believe they are doing what is right, but Boris .... NO!

It is your opinion that he has mishandled the covid crisis. It’s not mine, and plenty of others.

And I’m not saying he is perfect , just being fair.

What about all the old people he chucked out of Hospitals into care homes without a test to
make beds for covid., wonder how many he killed by doing that.

Boris is a Bullingdon Club buffoon, nothing more. He epitomises everything I despise in politicians today and the reason I won't vote Tory again until he's gone.

Yes Andy it honestly is my opinion that he mishandled the covid crisis, i know you have already said it was an impossible task and almost everyone was doing the best that they could because it was something nobody had planned and i agree there is truth in that

But my opinion is that money was wasted, w.h.o advice was ignored, plainly silly ideas were put into action and that we have been consistently lied to by those of boris cronies that we can actually understand

His leadership has been shambolic pretty much from day one. He sees himself as some sort of Churchill reborn, yet he couldn't give us an answer to the question "what colour is the sky.?" without resorting to a committee of his cronies. He's more like Son of Berlusconi... Corrupt, devious, self obsessed and a congenital liar who will do and say anything to stay in power.

The thing that is angering me most at the moment, paradoxically, is his lunatic green policies...as handed to him by his wife.
The amounts we're all going to have to pay in green taxes are absolutely absurd. We produce 0.7% of global pollution, so his policies in comparison to the overall effect it will have on the environment compared to the big 4 global polluters is like one person in London giving up smoking to improve the whole city's air quality.

What worries me most is that anyone thinks this charlatan is an acceptable leader for this country. Really..? This idiot is the best person we can find to lead us..?
If we set the benchmark any lower for the office of Prime Minister then the next leader of this country will be Del Boy.

So who you think should be PM?

He’s fucked up my pension savings and investments enough already no more thank you. I don’t trust his sort. Come to that I don’t trust anybody.
If he's PM, he won't be meddling with pensions and investments anymore.

Liz Truss has said that she would throw her hat in the ring. No thanks. Saying that though, she does seem to have, you know, a fair set.
