Spent all afternoon sorting through all the boxes of nuts bolts screws and rubbish that I keep saying to myself that I will sort one of these days. Whitworth and AF spanners in the bin I haven't used whit spanners since I owned a Norton dominator 15 years ago. And put a new rear tyre on the bird yesterday. So how many of you Bird members spent time since Xmas in the shed/garage giving it the spring clean. The wife and kids say I have OCD LOL.:bang:

Funny you should be mentioning this as having been for a cycle ride this afternoon I thought it was about time to sort the shed out - the bike was hidden under a load of Christmas paper, boxes and other crap and took me a while to get the thing out. The mice have obviously had a good time as they have kindly left a load of shredded paper and a million little parcels everywhere!

Anyway, a nice ten mile cycle around the marsh and an hour in the shed has made me feel better and I can now celebrate these achievements with a beer or two before dinner.

I had this syndrome last week, luckily for me my FIL lives over the road so i shot me bikes into his garage [2 x honda 6ers, 1 x bird] so i could sort me stuff out, only been here six months and it had got untidy in that short time,

My shelves finally arrived so I spent some of yesterday putting them together & sorting my garage out.

Me too John !

Actually got a new Tool Chest and binned the boxes of old nuts, etc, put my tools in the Chest, got a pile of new bags of stainless Allen Screws of different diameters and lengths and matching stainless nuts and washers !

Spent most of today tidying up garage and sorting Transalp out that arrived back on Friday.

All I need now is a day when its not -1 and raining, like it is now !

Skating rink tomorrow I reckon.

My 99 was one of the best bikes I ever had. I was in the RAF at St. Mawgan outside Newquay and a few of us had 99s and we reckon there weren't any locals who could keep up with us. Happy days.

It was a beautiful sunny day and you guys were tidying sheds? That's a rainy day job! :dunno:

I had my first social ride of the year. 160 miles of dry roads :yo:

Only one snag with that and that is we had wind and snow for the last two days wind in excess of 90 mph and no power. Roll on the summer!!!bl4hbl4h
