BMF 'TailEnder' is to move

Yup, from next year the Tail End rally will be moving from Peterborough to the Lincolnshire Events Centre at the Lincolnshire Showground

I have been there to a show just a couple of months ago and in all honesty I cannot say that it is any better or indeed worse than the peterborough ground.. but it is different and the actual entertainment centre is nice.. Not so barn like !

Kind of heard a rumour something was about to change. I'd spoken with the new guy thats taken over the bmf shows, and he'd hinted that it might move. Shame its not the Memba rally though. Maybe thats to close to be able to move for the next one. Had suggested Newark show ground though, don't know waht Lincoln is like, but the move might be enough to persaude me to go.
This new guy does seem to want to sort things out, and like he says, he does need supporting or it will die out altogether.

20 miles from me, I go around 6 times a year for several events, it's on a par with Peterborough, in fact, they are both just huge 40 acre sites with a few pissers and a central building, but at the Lincs showground there's the new Epic centre, which is very nice. I used to live 3 miles away from it, but hey, it's still closer :yo:

Been to a few shows there myself..
One thing that stands out like a sore thumb. The whole site is directed specifically at farm folk..
The toilets are interesting apart from the post new ones and something you may not be aware of if you have only been a day visitor is the bloody doodle bug karts that do the rounds in the morning

Most of the bogs are not on main sewers and have to be emptied regularly ..
The smell is amazing to say the least

I also find the site a bit on the sprawled out side too

Hopefully its not right next door to a housing estate so things can be allowed to be a bit noisy and to go on beyond midnight.

Scampton air base is over the road, literally left is what remains of the Scampton housing estate ..... now private homes ...... which will create more noise than the bikers as they are generally occupied by scuffers
