I read that Kawasaki's parent company, KHI, is investing heavily in research for Hydrogen gas powered shipping. They're also collaborating with Toyota, who are keen on Hydrogen gas powered vehicles and have used a version of Kwacker's H2 engine in a hydrogen powered car. Apparently the engine is well suited to burning hydrogen.

Toyota's partnered up with Kawasaki to build a hydrogen heart for the industry - and based on the demo, they're knocking it out of the park.
