I've just got round to fitting my Blueflame cans to my 99 FI Bird. AND, they sound fantastic. I was dreading doing it, but the went straight on with no messing about and look and sound brilliant. I've got the plain Titanium, Trizoid dual port EVO's.

I can't fault them and they are certainly a lot lighter than the standard cans - not too hard in reality. I weighed them and the two Blueflames actually weigh less than one of the standard cans!! I'm one happy fella.:yo:

Does anyone know if you need a new map downloaded to a power commander after fitting Blueflames, i've got a PC going on after mines first service and have been looking at some blueflames, think they look stunning?

The official line from Blueflame is that no adjustments are necessary. However, I would use a specific map if possible. As Dynojet do not list a map for Blueflame cans on either Fi model 'bird, a map for the BOS slip-on cans would be closest (Blueflame cans tend to be "Hi-flow" ie. very little back pressure, which is similar to BOS cans). You would be better off though, getting a custom map done, at a Dynojet approved dyno centre
