well I woke at 2.30 from a nightmare..
a copper pulled me on my white bird, then asked to see road tax which some how was on a car screen. then a BMW 4x4 copper rammed bike to stop me escapeing.
No way could I sleep after that lot.
I very rarely remember any dream so for me this was weird.
now mid day and yes its pissing it down

I should have been visiting the Midlands to
1.. Pick up a bike.
2.. Visit parents for a couple of hours.
Both have been cancelled so I'm doing 'jobs' around the house, sorting a better deal with Virgin Media, and ironing :xm

So I'm actually glad I'm not working today as it's monsoon conditions outside.

Oh great.
Back to the grind in the morning.
I will be looking out for the Asian fellow in the big black Audi who yesterday morning decided to overtake the queue at the double white lines on the bends making me swerve into the gutter to avoid him. (Close call). He was completely over, not just straddling them as most do.

My hand missed his mirror, but I'll be looking out for him! :shooter:

Landscapers do it outside
I knocked off work early, went round to see the misses at work, then chatted to some guy in the car park about bikes, which then meant got home normal time, note to self to leave off even earlier, and its not even Friday....

Yesterday I went to our field at Staincross to dig some holes for fence posts (only about another 40 to do) it was red hot but I had some cans of ice cold coke in the freezer bag, just as I was concreting in one of the posts I felt a few spots of rain & thought "brilliant, it will cool me down a bit" five seconds later the heavens opened & the rain was like stair rods, My dogs were at the bottom end of the field so I shouted them, they came running as fast as they could but in that short space of time I was drenched through to my undies, I got in the car & drove the three miles home back to brilliant sunshine.

At least the ground will be a bit softer for the other 40 post holes. :-0)
