Went over to Cochem this afternoon, as I heard on the radio that the Mosel had frozen over8ree!. By the time we'd got there, an Ice breaking boat had been down, so was not quite as I had hoped:bang:, but still saw people walking and even jumping about on the Ice:eek:

I'm off to Berlin on Friday, what's the weather like over in Germany at the moment generally???? do I need to take a coat?

Errrr Yeah! in the last week, we have had temperatures down to -20 degrees over night :eek:, and it hasn't been above freezing for ages:xm!!

Certainly hasn't been the weather to take my Bird out for a ride

i'm packing more clothes ...... have now made a serious change of wardrobe plans after I checked the weather on the web ....... it'll be warm in the bars though ...... :-0)

All round that area (Mosel - Rhine valleys & Eiffel region) isa gorgeous :bow:

Thats why we are staying local to there when we come to Germany in June for the German GTR meeting in Monschau in the Eiffel region...Then looking at staying at Mayschoss (just north of the Ring) for a few days, then over to see you Bod & Brita (get ya hols booked so ya can avoid us again...LOL) for a couple of days (at your B&B...)

Love that area...Loads of good roads, brilliant scenery, fabulous food, plus a few friends... What more can folks ask for ???

ps... Having trouble booking my ride with Ms Schmitz in her Ring....................taxi at the moment (last years bookings getting in the way)

First time for us last erm 'summer' round the Mosel and Rhine area..

my favourite part of our Germany trip, will be going back asap :bow::bow:
