Blood Bike Update

You all may remember a post from a couple of months ago about the Warwickshire and Solihull Blood Bike group having the contract taken off them. Well some good news.

Following some hard work by some very dedicated members, and from intervention by NHS bosses as I understand, the group are now back collecting and delivering blood samples.

A massive well done for a fight well fought to all those involved in getting things back to normal!!!

That of course raises the question of how much the private company got out of it !?

I don't know is the simple answer. I would like to think nothing but I somehow doubt that!!.

Either they were paid to get out of the contract, or more likely they have been 'retained' until the contract runs out
