Speed cameras can now differentiate between cars and lorries and so LGV drivers travelling on an "A" road in excess of the speed limit for their vehicle(40 mph) in the belief that the camera is set to 60mph is incorrect.

To make you aware of the main sites our drivers are being repeatedly caught these are,

Taking the governments current stance on speeding into account, i am sure it will not be long before all cameras are able to distinguish between cars and lorries, so please be warned you truckers :xm

Beware the one at Tabley - just beyond it the law also uses a mobile camera! :cry:

Note too for bike riders...virtually all camera vans now have a passenger in the front seat, to take down reg plates of bikes. Is this legal, without a pic? I have a feeling it is, if it's a police officer doing it.
